Best Games of the 2008-09 PAC-10 Football Season
With anticipation growing for the upcoming college football season, fans look ahead to their favorite picks for the best games of the season.

With PAC-10 College Football commencement just a few weeks away, anticipation is growing each day. Fans look forward to the upcoming season and the games it presents. Whether tough competitive battles or easy wins, fans choose their favorite games of the season, paying special attention to hype surrounding those games.

Here are the top games I am looking forward to during the 2008-09 PAC-10 College Football season:

Oregon State at Penn State

Depending on which poll you look at, both schools are listed in the top 25. As the Beavs march into Beaver Stadium, will they be ready for the massive crowd and noise? I wonder what kind of practice Mike Riley has put his guys through…did he blast noise or music during practices at Reser Stadium? We’ll see how prepared the Beavers are for their second game of the season in Pennsylvania.

Ohio State at USC

I call this one Battle of the Super Power Teams. Do the Buckeyes still have it? Or with USC show how good they are again?

Civil War: Oregon at Oregon State

Because I have attended both the University of Oregon and Oregon State, cheering for teams during the Civil War can be anguishing. I want to see if the Ducks can do what the Beavs did at Autzen, and steal one away on the road. I just don’t know if they have what it takes this year. The Beavs have a solid quarterback, quick offensive players and that defensive line…

Which games are you looking forward to most? Leave a comment.

Yes, I agree. I do like to see those non-conference match-ups though, to show how strong the PAC-10 really is.

Civil war is always a spectacular event. Disregard team records or polls, each side gives 110% while the fans get a fantastic no-holds game.
